[News]Boeing Tianjin Composites Co., Ltd. and Shenyang Aircraft Industry (group) Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd. Signed a Procurement Contract

September 16, 2015, Boeing Tianjin Composites Co.,Ltd.(BTC) signed a procurement contract about Boeing 737, 747 and 787 metal parts with Shenyang Aircraft Industry (group) Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd.(SAI) during the recent exhibition.

After strict project appraisal and screening process, SAI has stood out from 11 domestic and international suppliers. SAI has win a six years supplier contract which includes 72 metal parts of Boeing 737, 747 and 787, the total value of this contract has achieved Us $9.9 million.

The China operation vice-president of Boeing Commercial Airplanes(BCA), Ian Chang announced that ‘Boeing and China aviation industry had a long term cooperate relationship before, and BCA is aiming to give more supports to China aviation industry through expanding supply chain in China. Today I am so happy to witness another milestone in cooperation with China aviation industry, and I also believe that we will have more amazing cooperation in our future.’

BCA and BTC are aiming to integrate a good supplier chain in Chain and to give support to China aviation industry development. This contract is an essential way to indicate the confidence and ability of China aviation industry to create world class manufacturing capacity.

Currently there have more than 8000 active Boeing aircrafts installed the parts which are made in China. Made in China plays a significant role within all Boeing commercial airplanes producing projects, include Boeing 737, 747,767,777 and the latest and most innovative Boeing 787.
