The 4th International Aircraft Engineering Summit 2017 was successfully held in Shanghai

The 4th International Aircraft Engineering Summit 2017 (AES CHINA 2017) was held in Shanghai Pudong Kerry Hotel On July 18th. As one of the most important activities of the 6th China International Aviation Services Trade Fair 2017, AES was supported by CAAC, global airlines, airplanes, MRO enterprises, OEMs, and so on. The speakers and attendees discussed about the hot topic on MRO and aircraft interior technology development and market trend, in order to promote the development of MRO and aircraft interiors industry.

At the opening ceremony of this Summit, Wang Wenbin, the Deputy Director-General, Shanghai Society of Aeronautics, made the opening remark and his greet. Zhang Zhuguo， the senior engineer of Shanghai Aircraft Airworthiness Certification Centre of CAAC made the files based on the concept of safety and practice of airwothiness, and engineer Huang Jun gave the first speech on the topic of Development of Aircraft Interior and Challenge Faced on Airworthiness Certification. The second speech was related to the famous C919, and Lu Xiaoan, the Vice President of COMAC SAMC, showed the way of analyzing practical problems with his presentation on “Quality Management System Innovation of C919”. Fang Weizhong, the Deputy General Manager of Eastern Airlines Technic, shared his knowledge of the “Analysis and Management Ideas on Aircraft Maintenance Cost”. As the Director of COMAC SADRI, Wu Zhixiang introduced the Solution for Aircraft Interiors of C919 with videos, which received drastic responses from the guests. The last keynote speaker was Pang Zhen, the Vice President of AVIC, he made an important speech on the “Overview & Outlook of Chinese Cabin Enterprises”. All these speeches by our keynote speakers provided with meaningful points as well as abundant information, and were highly evaluated by guests.

Based on his work experience, Nigel Duncan, the CEO of STG Aerospace, dramatically showed the successful case of “Bringing Economy up a Class”. Zhang Qin, the Deputy General Manager from Holy Aviation Electromechanical, shared her opinions in the aspect of “The Portable Electronic Devices Will Never Be Without Power”.

By putting forward with lots of detailed solutions to this question, he offered our guests with a beneficial way of thinking and solving problems. Steven Yang, the VP of STAECO, focused on the point of the Chance and Challenge for China MRO Industry, and his speech induced the guests’ interest and discussion. After that, on behalf of the advanced technology in China, Ms. Ma Rui from AECC Beijing Institute of Aeronautical Materials talked about the Repair Technology Research and Application Situation of Key Aeronautical Parts.
